Fu disegnata da Marcello Gandini e prodotta dal 1966 al 1973. Questa meravigliosa Lamborghini monta un motore V12 da 3.9 litri cn una potenza di ben 350 cv.
La più estrema fu la Miura Sv da 385 cv e in grado di arrivare intorno ai 300 km/h. Ne sono state realizzate solo 150 esemplari che oggi sono saliti di valore.
La Miura è però considerata una delle più belle auto mai realizzate e quando fu presentata nel 1966 al salone di Ginevra lasciò tutti allibiti per le sue forme innovative e inedite. 850 auto vennero costruite, ma purtroppo la tendenza di queste a prendere spontaneamente fuoco ne distrusse una buona parte degli esemplari in circolazione. RispondiEliminaInfluenced by the well known Ford GT40, the Lamborghini Miura 1966 managed to stirr excitement well before it was actually finished. After seeing the uncompleted frame at the Turin Motor Display in 1965 persons rushed within place the orders even if the body has not been been designed. When it finally came out in 1966, the first design as well as the clam spend hoods needed everyone by shock. It announced several engine types that have been named the P400, the P400S plus the P400SV.
